New Pilot Project (Trees)
This article was added Aug 30, 2024 8:22 AMThe WIWD will be running a pilot project for a secondary tree program for spring plantings. In addition to the annual Community Tree Nursery program, the WIWD will be offering an $80.00 rebate to WIWD residents who purchase trees through TreeTime.ca.
Step 1: Order your trees from TreeTime.ca in November of 2024
- there is a wide selection of varieties to choose from, with lots of fruiting varieties available
- you choose your delivery date, and your order is shipped directly to you (or your P.O. box) in the spring of 2025
Step 2: Wait for your trees to arrive… Be sure to keep your delivery slip. This is integral to completing your rebate form.
Step 3: Plant your trees!
Step 4: Fill out the TreeTime Rebate Form (available spring 2025). Submit your completed rebate form, along with a copy of the delivery slip that comes with your order, to the WIWD office via mail, fax, email or in-person.
*Rebate form will not be available till next spring. Keep an eye on our website for more information*
As always, this programming is only available to residents of the West Interlake Watershed District. If you are unsure whether you are a resident, please contact the office.
