The WIWD strives to be the lead local watershed organization, bringing a holistic and sustainable management perspective to issues affecting surface and groundwater quality and quantity. The WIWD is comprised of watershed residents that are divided into Sub Districts based on sub watershed boundaries.

Living Labs Co-Development Session (Interlake Region)
Thursday January 25th 2024 - 9:00am-3:00pm
Location: 50 3rd Ave, Lundar MB (Lundar Legion #185)
The goals of the first co-development session will be:
- Present the overarching goals of Living Labs, gather the priorities of producers as they pertain to the program.
- Identify innovative practices to implement the research activities.
- Identify leading producers willing to have research sites on their land/or be involved in some other way.
Primary discussion will be focused on cropping & livestock integration, as well as natural infrastructure role and integration in agricultural systems.

Manitoba Resilient Agricultural Landscape Program (RALP)

RALP Producer Funding Applications
Producers may submit funding applications to the province under the streams of Agroforestry and Grasslands & Grazing Management.
Eligible applicants can be reimbursed for up to 75% of total approved eligible expenses, to a maximum $15,000 per project. Please visit the above link for the program guide, applications, and eligibility stipulations.
Sustainable Agriculture Manitoba (SAM)
