Allowing Future Generations to Benefit
from our Forward Thinking

Public Education

The WIWCD strives to provide our watershed residents and the general public with quality education pieces regarding conservation and the programs the WIWCD provides. We are committed to educational awareness for school age youth through various education components.

The WIWCD believes in the importance of educating the next generation of residents and landowners and will work with cooperating organizations and District schools to assist in implementing environmental education into the curriculum. Schools within the District will be eligible for up to $500 per school per year.

Contact the WIWCD office with your environmental education ideas (i.e. in-class presentations, sponsorships, field trips, etc.) early in the year in order to ensure that plans are made for your school to be involved.
