The WIWD strives to be the lead local watershed organization, bringing a holistic and sustainable management perspective to issues affecting surface and groundwater quality and quantity. The WIWD is comprised of watershed residents that are divided into Sub Districts based on sub watershed boundaries.

The Community Treebate is open as of September 1st 2026!
​
The West Interlake Watershed District will be carrying out two simultaneous Community Treebate Programs starting September 1st 2026.
​
If you did not participate (receive a rebate) for a 2026 Community Treebate application, you may participate in both the 2026 Fall Planting and the 2027 Spring & Fall Planting programs (eligible for up to $80.00 in rebate for each).
​
If you have already received a rebate for a 2026 Community Treebate application, then you may only apply for the 2027 Spring & Fall Planting.

Programming is based on a first-come, first-serve basis. Program is subject to available funds, and may be discontinued without notice.
